This notice constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. DAAD05-97-R-0532 is issued as a Request For Proposals. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45. The U.S. Army Garrison, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Directorate of Contracting, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland 21005-5001 has a requirement for the purchase of the following replacement components for current Government-owned Power Engineering & Manufacturing (PEM) equipment as follows: 1) 24 each low profile samplers for Power Engineering & Manufacturing (PEM) model PEM-0020, 2) 10 each muffler enhanced sound suppressors for PEM biosampler model PEM-00100, 3) 2000 each membrane retrofits for wet collector model PEM-0020-20, 4) 4000 each quad gasket retrofits for wet collector model PEM-0020-20, 5) 2 each pcb and panel module for liquid sampler model PEM-00-10, 6) 2 each pcb and panel module for biosampler model PEM-00-20, 7) 2 each cassette pump modules for liquid sampler model PEM-0010, 8) 2 each carousel modules for liquid sampler model PEM-0010, 9) 2 each motor module with upper plate for biosampler model PEM-0020, 10) 2000 each wet collectors, enhanced type for biosampler model PEM-0020, 11) 2 each light fixtures for liquid sampler model PEM-0010, 12) 3 each cooling fan assembly for biosampler model PEM-0020. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Award of this solicitation shall be made to the low priced technically acceptable offeror. In order to be considered acceptable, the offeror must meet the requirements set forth above. An offeror must quote on all items in this solicitation to be eligible for award. The Government will award on an "all or none" basis. Evaluation of offers will be based upon the total price quoted for all items. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party.
