The site is located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Poland Avenue and North Robertson Street in New Orleans. A preproposal conference is scheduled for May 29, 1997 at 9:30 am at Sizeler Architects, 300 LaFayette Mall, Suite 200, New Orleans, A 70130. All interested Contractors are urged to attend. Also, the existing building located on job site will be opened for inspection at 2:00 pm on May 29, 1997 for interested contractors. Estimated cost range $3,50O,000.00-$3,800,000.00 and construction time is 300 calendar days. Successful offeror must submit their Subcontracting Plan for Small and Minority-Owned, and Woman-Owned Business initially and thereafter with their progress payment requests. The contractor must subcontract with minority business firms in an amount aggregating not less than 10% of the total value of its subcontracts. A 20% proposal bond is required on all proposals. The successful contractor will be required to provide 100% Performance and 50% Payment Bonds within forty-eight (48) hours after notification of award.
