Economic Anaylsis of the Pension and Welfare Benefits
Administration,U.S. Department of Labor solicits proposals for policy
relevant projects costing $25,000 or less concerning private pensions
and employer-provided helath benefits,with prioity to innovative,timely
projects of $10,000 or less. All proposals for work related to employee
benefits issues and the the Employee Retirement Income Security Act
(ERISA) will be considered. Priority will be given to work with
immediate policy to relevance to the Department of Labor's
responsibilities under Title I of ERISA. In addition, priority will be
given to studies using the form 5500 data, the Health and Retirement
Study, the April 1993 Supplement to the Current Population Survey, or
the September 1994 Supplement to the Current Population Survey.
Proposals will be reviewed for award at regular intervals throughout
the fiscal year until funds have been expened. Proposals received after
September 1,1997 will not be cosidered under this request for
proposals. This program is designated for a 50 percent small business
set-aside. Request for solicitations should be in writing. No phone
