It is the declared and acknowledged intention and meaning of this solicitation to provide interior renovations of kitchens within 16 units of family housing. The work also includes the replacement of light fixtures, replacement of clothes washer water hook-ups, replacement of baseboard heating units, the installation of sound proofing by installing insulation and gypsum wall board and miscellaneous related work within 61 units of family housing at the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Cutler, Maine. This solicitation has a potential of three options. Except when it is determined in accordance with FAR 17.206(b) not to be in the government's best interest, the government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirements. Evaluation of options will not obligate the government to exercise the options. The cost range for this project is $500,000 -- 1,000,000.
