Contractor shall provide services to augment and backup the ASOS, to disseminate and record backup observations as required, perform preventative maintenance of equipment to carry out administrative duties and climatic duties as needed at Beaver, WV and Concord, NH. Both sites are ASOS commissioned sites. Contractor shall provide certified weather observers who shall not work more than 12 hours in a 24 hour period. Contractor shall operate Beaver, WV site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Contractor shall operate Concord, NH site two, eight-hour shifts per day, 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. The period of performance is October 1, 1997 to September 30, 1998, with option to extend for two additional years. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside.
