Gail Gilchrist, (703) 706-1710 The Army proposes to procure on-site
ORACLE relational database management system (RDBMS) applications'
development and maintenance support for the National Ground
Intelligence Center (NGIC), Charlottesville, VA. The implementation of
applications (including the underlying structures)consists of the
logical and physical design, software development, testing,
configuration management, training, porting the application to the
production environment, and life cycle maintenance of the applications.
Computer-aided Software Engineering (CASE) Application Development
Method (CADM) and Rapid Application Development (RAD) methods in the
UNIX environment must be used in developing the logical design and
physical design. The scope of this effort requires development and
maintenance of ORACLE RDMS applications in Sun Microsystems Sun OS and
Solaris, Windows NT, and Silicon Graphics IRIX environments including
the logical and physical design, and maintenance support of some
SYBASE database applications. The senior level personnel proposed must
have extensive ORACLE experience in the environments listed above. The
personnel who will be working on this contract must possess a TOP
SECRET clearance based on a Single Scope Background Investigation
(SSBI) that has been adjudicated by the Department of the Army at the
time of contract award. Only written requests for a copy of the
solicitation will be accepted. Only offerors with demonstrated
experience in the listed environments and a current TOP SECRET facility
clearance should respond to the solicitation. Solicitation responses
must list the facility clearance contractor cage code and cognizant
security office for the offeror in the cover letter, or the response
