The New Jersey Air National Guard propose s to award a contract for the construction of a Consolidated Aircraft Parking A pron, Squadron Operations Facility, and Fuel Cell & Corrosion Control Dock loca ted at the 108th ARW, New Jersey Air National Guard, McGuire AFB, New Jersey. This solicitation will be referred to as the CASH. The apron shall consist of 75,000 square yards of flexural concrete to include tiedowns, pavement painting, apron lighting, hydrant refueling pits, and an asphalt edge around the apron. The Squadron Operations Facility consists of 62,100 square feet of area. Thi s facility shall include concrete floor and foundation, multiple story structur al steel framing, masonry and insulated panel walls, steel standing seam roof, mechanical ventilation, office area construction, small kitchen area installati ons, fire suppression, interior vehicle parking, and all utilities and support. The Fuel Cell & Corrosion Control Dock consists of 29,400 squarefeet of area. This facility shall include reinforced concrete foundation and floor slab, str uctural steel and masonry with insulated panel walls and roof structure, all ut ilities, access pavements, fire suppression, and support. These facilities sha ll be environmentally safe. This solicitation provides for multiple line items and additive bids, all of which must be addressed in order to be considered fo r this solicitation. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and ma terials required to perform the work in strict accordance with the plans and sp ecifications. The estimated range of construction is above $10,000,000. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of th is solicitation. The applicable standard industrial classification number is 1 542. This solicitation is unrestricted and subject to evaluation criteria contained in DFAR 252.219-7003, NOTICE OF EVALUATION PREFERENCES FOR SMALL DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS CONCERNS CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM (APR 1996).
