The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) proposes to procure janitorial services. The contractor will be required to furnish all labor, supervision, supplies, and equipment necessary to successfully provide janitorial and other related services at the IRS Ogden Service Center (OSC) in Ogden, Utah. The building has 389,424 square footage areas to be cleaned, with 20 toilet rooms, totaling 313 toilet fixtures, The IRS requires such services from 10/01/97 through 9/30/98 with four (4) option periods of 12 months each totaling 60 months. The IRS contemplates an award of a firm-fixed price/award fee contract type resulting from this solicitation. Offerors should consider the magnitude and complexity of this contract prior to requesting a copy of the solicitation.
