The Navy requires one each Thermal Activity Monitor (TAM) microcalorimetry system for analylsis of explosives and propellants in the Thermal Activity Monitor microcalorimeter Model 2277-33a. This requirement is being solicited on a sole source basis from Allied Chemical Technologies, Inc., 4000 Blackburn Ln #180, Burtonsville MD 20866, since Allied Chemical is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and the system must totally be interchangeable with four existing TAM Model 2277 Calorimeters. Delivery is F.O.B. Destination to NSWC 45 days after contract award. A fixed price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). It is anticipated that a formal Request for Quote will be issued. In a SAP, this procurement is exclusively reserved for Small Business Concerns in accordance with FAR clause 52.219-6.
