Bender (360) 476-7265 Description/Specifications: Logistics Services, in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Keyport, WA, provides for the management and execution of Government storerooms, warehousing functions, receiving, and material movement. These services include inventory control, and materials handling and traceability, with specific types of materials represented as electro-static discharge sensitive, classified and/or hazardous materials. Warehousing and storeroom functions are located at various sites, located at NUWC Keyport, WA, NUWC Annex at Subase Bangor, WA, NUWC Detachment at Hawthorne, NV, NUWC Detachment at Manassas, VA, and the Lofall Facility at Poulsbo, WA. These various warehousing and storeroom functions and sites are to be managed and operated under automated inventory control procedures, and shall be maintained in accordance with applicable DOD security measures. Specific services include performance of the following operations: shop stores; reserve material inventory; direct material inventory; system stock; receiving; document destruction; calibration recall; packing, preservation, packaging, and conveyance loading; fiberboard container manufacture; and, chemical laboratory materials support, including performance of chemical material failure analysis. Contract type will be Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee, level-of-effort. Subject solicitation is for a total of 2,368,480 labor hours at 236,848 labor hours per year for a base year and nine, 1 year option periods. The contract base year period of performance will begin 01 March 1998. Source selection will be made based upon a greatest value analysis, considering price and other factors. Evaluation criteria will include technical capability and past performance. Oral technical capability presentations will be required. Only written requests for information will be honored.
