This is a Request for Information for the pilot program for the commercial assembly of the Unitized Group Ration, Cook Prepared, Perishable (UGR-A). Concepts and industry information related to the direct vendor delivery of the UGR-A module is requested. The UGR-A is a group feeding ration which contains a full complement of semi-perishable and perishable items for one menu to feed 50 soldiers. The suggested menus and packaging configurations will be provided with the RFI. These menus are subject to change with the approval of the Services'. The sites for this test are Fort Hood, TX and Fort Stewart, GA. The quantities and delivery requirements will be dictated by the customers at both activities.
