Long, 202/435-6940 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation which will be accomplished in accordance with the Small Acquisitions Procedures. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Clauses are applicable unless otherwise noted: FAR Part 52.212-4 and 52.212-1. with FAR 52.212-1(b)(8) and 52.212-1(e) exempted for this procurement action. The associated standard industrial classification code (SIC) is 7372. This action is restricted as a 100% small business set-aside. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation package will not be issued. Solicitation number 97-Q-15 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). All references to "offers" are understood to be "quotations". The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. Award will be made to one offeror who fully meets requirements for the equipment. This is a firm-fixed price requirement. CLIN-0001, Microsoft Office Professional Suite Version 4.3 on CD, Quantity one (1) each. CLIN-0002, Microsoft Office Professional Suite Version 4.3 Site Licenses, Quantity one-hundred nine (109) each. No substitutions shall be allowed. The Contractor shall deliver the complete quantity: (i) F.O.B. destination; (ii) within thirty (30) days ARO; (iii) delivery shall be made to: United States Secret Service, Office of Protective Research, Information Resources Management Division, Suite 1 -- -, 1800 G Street NW, Washington DC 20223, Attention: Sharese Wells. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination, after installation. The Government intends to award a contract, to the responsible offeror whose quotation conforming to the specifications will be most price advantageous to the Government.
