NASA/JSC is hereby soliciting information for potential sources for replacement or modification of ejection seats in NASA's T-38 aircraft. Ejection seats need to meet weight requirements of 103-245 lbs., speed requirements of 0-600 knots, and altitiude requirements of 0-5500 feet. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. Vendors having the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements are invited to submit appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resultant solicitation for the requirement. Firms responding should indicate whether they are a socially or economically disadvantaged business firm, an 8(a) firm, a small business, a woman-owned business, and/or foreign entity.
