The project consists of the new construction of 0.73 miles of 8' wide, paved bike trail. Principal items of construction include quality control and quantity measurement, establish and maintain vertical grade control of the existing marked centerline alignment, 0.73 miles of clearing and grubbing, excavation placement, 350 cubic yards of borrow excavation, placement of 445 tons of hot bituminous pavement, installation of 80 linear feet of small diameter C.M.P.A., placement of 45 cubic yards of hand placed riprap, placement of 170 linear feet of asphalt curbing, construction of 57 square yards of rock lined drainage ditch, construction of 2-10' wide wooden foot bridges (1-20' span and 1-34' span), installation of 1-4' wide x 10; long steel grated v-ditch crossing, installation of 10-6' rest area wood benches and 1 -- wood picnic table. Additional items include the installation of regulatory signs and bid racks. The estimated price range is $142,000.00.
