Operation, maintenance and support of the multi-warfare So. California Offshore Range (SCORE). The SCORE mission is to improve the combat readiness of Pacific Fleet air, surface, and submarine units in all warfare areas by providing instrumented operating areas and associated facilities to support training exercises. SCORE consists of Under Sea Warfare (USW), Electronic Warfare (EW), Mining Operations, (including unit level MIW Airwing Mine Readiness Certificate Inspections (MCRIs) with EOD MK5 marine mammal recovery and Kingfisher mine avoidance), Shore Bombardment Area (SHOBA) operating areas, with Air-to-Air, Air-to-Ground tracking. Anti- Surface Warfare (ASUW) and other capabilities available. This pro- curement addresses the Operation and Maintenance of the SCORE Range Operations Center (ROC), associated equipment and facilities located on Naval Air Sta, North Island (NASNI) San Diego, CA, San Clemente Isl (SCI), and elsewhere and all operations and maintenance of equipment & facilities that are part of the SCORE Range System. Provide support to Fleet Area Control and Surveillance Facility for a base year with options for 4 additional years. Award is anticipated to commence on 1 Feb 98.
