20 -- RING LASER GYRO NAVIGATOR (RLGN) SYSTEMS SOL N00024-97-R-4154 POC POC Chris Hannah, 602-0200, PCO- Pete Troia, 602-0200 The Naval Sea Systems Command will issue RFP N00024-97-R-4154 to Sperry Marine, Inc., 1070 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, VA 22901-2891 to procure the following equipment: Fourteen (14) shipsets (28 systems) of Ring Laser Gyro Navigator (RLGN) Configuration B-1 Systems, and one (1) shipset (2 systems) of RLGN Configuration B-3 systems. As the designer, and sole producer of the RLGN, Sperry Marine is the only company that possesses the design, data and expertise necessary to manufacture and deliver the required RLGN Systems in the timeframe necessary to meet mission requirements.
