This project consists of the design and construction (Design/Build) for a tie-off restraint system including the structural anchorage devices or mechanisms, at the U.S. Federal Building, 911 N.E. 11th Street, Portland, Oregon 97232. The design shall include an engineered structural analysis of the attachment to and integrity of existing adjacent structural elements for capacity to resist the forces required. The contract requires all materials, labor and equipment necessary for the design and installation of a complete fall restraint system to safeguard maintenance workers at the roof perimeter. Offerors will be evaluated on the technical factors and price. The estimated cost for design and construction is between $25,000 and $30,000 and will be awarded as a lump sum firm fixed price contract. The requirement is being solicited as a Small Business Set-Aside.
