Work includes demolition of existing concrete base, painting new insulated piping, and replacing existing hot water circulating pumps. Asbestos is contained in the pipe insulation, vinyl floor tile and adhesive. Any contractor or subcontractor performing asbestos or other hazardous material work shall satisfy special responsibility and provide bodily injury liability insurance coverage written on the comprehensive form of the policy of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence. Such coverage must encompass liabilities arising from work with hazardous materials involved. The Government will not indemnify against such risks.
