Johnson Engineering Corporation (JE) is a prime contractor (NAS9-18800) to NASA/JSC. VH products are required to upgrade an existing 70mm camera system already in use at NASA/JSC and to provide interchangeability of replacement parts. The following is a brief description for some of the items required: 203FE Camera Body without focusing hood, leatherette, and with split image/microprism screen; 50mm distagon f/2.8FE lens; 110mm Planar f/2.0 FE lens; 350mm Tele-Tessar f/4.0 FE lens. JE is seeking prospective suppliers who have the ability to provide VH cameras and accessories that will be compatible with existing VH 70mm camera systems already in use at NASA/JSC. If your company has a readily available substitute that is compatible with existing VH equipment and which can provide interchangeability of replacement parts, you are requested to bring this to the immediate attention of the Buyer. Prospective suppliers must provide the necessary documentation to support that your company is an authorized VH Dealer/Distributor. This should be in the form of a letter from VH stating as such. Your company must demonstrate that it has provided VH manufactured products or components to others. You company must provide any other information that you consider helpful for JE to determine that your company can meet the minimum requirements. Prospective suppliers are requested to fax the required documentation within 15 calendar days of the publication date of this notice to fax number 281-461-9907. Include your business status (e.g., small disadvantaged or woman-owned business, small or large). All firms submitting the required documentation will be considered and any subsequent solicitation will be issued to the sources that JE has determined to have the best potential to successfully perform the specified work.
