COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF APRIL 29,1997 PSA#1834PUBLIC NOTICE -- CELLULAR SITE This serves as public notice that a
request has been received by the Department of the Navy to place a
cellular site on Indian Island, Jefferson County, Washington in
accordance with the Telecommunications Act of 1996. The Officer in
Charge of Naval Ordnance Center Pacific Division, Port Hadlock has
determined 3,600 square feet is available to construct, operate and
maintain a cellular site. Requestor's proposal includes: (1) Proof that
it is licensed by the Federal Communications Commission; (2) Lease
award contingent upon technical review of proposal; (3) Signing of a
Department of the Navy General Purpose Lease 11011/24; (4) Initial
lease term of five (5) years if tower is constructed with three (3)
additional periods of five (5) years each (20 years total); (5) Payment
of all costs in connection with the processing and management of the
lease. Costs may include, but are not limited to: Appraisals, Surveys,
Environmental Reviews/Approvals and Site Approval; (6) Navy must
approve and be compensated for all sub-lessees; (7) Lessee may be
required to remove all improvements at the expiration or termination of
