Sulfuric acid, bulk concentrate in accordance with FED SPEC 0-S-801C dated 20 Oct 78, as amended 21 Sept 87. Battery grade, electrolyte, Class I, Minimum specific gravity 1.8354 to 60/60 degrees F. Maximum impurities as specified in Table 2 of FED SPEC 0-S-801C, Sulfuric acid by weight 93.2% minumum, non-volatile matter 0.03% minumum by weight, Arsenic 0.0001 PPM maximum. Requirements are estimated to be 10 tanker deliveries of 48,000 (+/- 10%) pounds each. Period of Performance will be from 7 October 1997 through 6 October 1998 with two (2) one year option periods. Delivery to be made to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton WA 98314. This requirement will be solicited using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial items.
