Data Transfer Receptacle, 43 each, NSN: 7025-01-338-7064, P/N:
MU-1005/A, delivery to New Cumberland, PA. The Data Transfer Receptacle
represents a part of the Data Transfer System for the AH-64 and OH-58D
aircraft. It is expected that this action will be a new work
modification to contract DAAB07-95-D-B764. A non-competitive
negotiation is proposed with Rockwell International Corporation,
Collins Avionics & Communications Division, Cedar Rapids, IA, because
this procurement is confined to the contractor's part number referred
to and must be compatible in form, fit and function with existing
equipment. Detailed technical data for the manufacture and acceptance
for this item is not available from the Army. However, all responsible
sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
The synopsis is provided solely for informational purposes and should
not be relied upon as a basis for preparation of an offer. Only written
requests for this solicitation will be accepted. The U.S. Army
Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established an
Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) to provide electronic transmittal of
Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from
Government to Industry. All interested parties wishing to do business
with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive data from
the CECOM EBB system. To become a user of the EBB, you will need an
identification code and password in addition to a computer terminal
equipped with the necessary hardware and software to interface with the
EBB system. A user's identification code and password will be issued
upon request along with instructions for downloading the EBB User's
Manual. All requests must include (1) company name, (2) point(s) of
contact name(s) and title(s), (3) return address(es) and (4) telephone
