Troncoso, (310) 336-4335 The Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) Systems Program Office (SPO) intends to acquire support and service to study radar/calibration for DMSP Satellite 15. This performance period for this effort is 180 days after receipt of order. The current incumbent contractor for DMSP is Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space (LMMS), Princeton, NJ., the original designer and manufacturer of DMSP spacecraft and support equipment and has continuously supported this effort for 31 years. Interested sources must demonstrate a complete understanding of the DMSP satellite and support equipment, its design, systems interfaces and risks to complete an accurate and complete assessment of any impact which involves changes on the spacecraft.
