The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intents to establish multiple, 5-year, indefinite delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts for development/revision/presentation of training courses in the broad areas of Highway Safety, Traffic Management and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). Limited research necessary for course development will be included. Presentations may include traditional classroom, distance learning and/or computer-based self-teaching. Successful offerors may compete for award of subsequent task orders. Subsequent task orders may also include other functions relating to course development such as, needs assessments, marketing, electronic formatting, and conference management. Current courses in the broad areas of Highway Safety, Traffic Management and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) are listed in the NHI Course Catalog (http://www.nhi.fhwa.dot.gov).
