Request for Quotation to provide a 50' x 68' prefabricated shelter structure with steel columns and laminated curved beams, wood T&G roof deck and composite roof shingles. Design: structure shall have a 30 psf-snow and a 20 psf-wind design load and shall be in compliance with state and local building codes. Shop drawings will be required showing complete erection drawings, details and design. Materials: structure shall be laminated members with kiln-dried southern pine with a bending stress of 2400 psi and a minimum elasticity modulus 1.7e6 pst. Members shall be manufactured by an experienced fabricator and shall be ANSI/AITC A190.1 1983, AITC 1M-200, and AITC (waterproof adhesive) AITC-117 certified. AITC quality marks shall appear on all principal members. Structure flue-laminated timer beams shall be architectural appearance grade, sealed and shall be individually wrapped for protection. Offeror will be held responsible for any damage in shipment so items shall be protected to the maximum to ensure all components are received in perfect condition. Hardware: all hardware shall be zinc plated, and all nails and fasteners are to be included with kit. Roofing Deck: Roof decking shall be nominal 2x6 southern yellow pine, toung and grove, v-joint face side, kiln dried, #2 or better and furnished in standard uncut lengths to provide a continuous layup system and a nominal 2' overhang at the gable ends. Decking shall be ran in long dimension of shelter, and nails shall be included for installation. Roofing: shingles packed shall be black in color and fire rated, 3 tab fiberglass base shingles, a single layer of 15# asphalt underlayment, aluminum drip edge, and galvanized roofing nails for installation. Fascia: hand selected two inch by six (2x6) nominal southern pine, CCA 0.4 pcf treated. Eave height shall be 7'-10" above finish slab. Delivery: delivery shall be between August 18, 1997 and August 29, 1997. All quotations shall state FOB point, shipping weight and cost.
