Provide all materials, equipment, labor, and transportation required to
renovate the Gymnasium at the Integrated Support Command, Honolulu,
Hawaii. Work includes demolition of existing wood gym floor, metal
structural members, metal roofing, skylights, doors and frames, gutters
and downspouts, metal siding, fans, and lights. New work includes
concrete slab, synthetic athletic flooring, game line inserts, metal
structural members, insulated metal roofing, fiberglass skylight
panels, metal doors and frames, gutters, downspouts, finish hardware,
interior and exterior painting, metal louvers, metal siding, exhaust
fans, electrical lighting, electrical wiring and conduit. All work
shall be completed within 180 calendar days after receipt of the Notice
to Proceed. This solicitation is issued under and the resulting
contract awarded under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration
Program (PL 100-656). The construction range is between $250,000 and
$500,000. Only faxed or written requests for bid packages are
acckeptable. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be
considered. This notice is for informational purposes for minority,
women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises: The Department of
Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business
Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority, women-owned and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working
capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are
available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime
interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum
