requirement to provide Personal Computer User Training. Source must be
Microsoft Authorized Training Education Center (ATEC) certified.
Instructors must be Microsoft Certified Product Specialist in Windows
NT 4.0 and Microsoft Office Pro 95. Course is to consist of software
application training in: Windows NT 4.0, Microsoft Office 95 (Work 7.0,
PowerPoint 7.0, Excel 7.0, Access 7.0), Microsoft Exchange Client, and
Internet Explorer. Source is to provide Microsoft certified courseware
materials. Proficiencies desired at end of training include: Log in to
a domain, Use basic Microsoft Office applications, Send e-mail, and
Navigate the Internet. Training is to be accomplished between June 1,
1997 and September 30, 1997. Training location will be the Army
National Guard Training and Community Center, 600 Cedar St., St. Paul,
MN 55101. A 10 seat classroom with one instructor workstation, each
programmed with domain access and related configuration will be
provided. Potential number of students requiring training is 150 to be
trained in approximately 15 separate sessions. In addition to price
quotes, daily training schedule and proposed courseware will be
required. Contract will be in accordance with Simplified Acquisition
Procedures under full and open competition. Interested sources must
submit a written request for the solicitation. The request shall
include a statement of capabilities and requisite certifications for
this training. Potential sources must be located in the Minneapolis/St.
Paul, Minnesota Metro Area. The Solicitation will be available o/a 5
