COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF APRIL 21,1997 PSA#1828CONFERENCE ADDRESSING SMALL BUSINESS AND MANPOWER SUPPORT CONTRACTING
The Aeronautical Systems Center Small Business Office, in association
with the Dayton Chapter of the National Contract Management
Association, will host a one day conference addressing small business
and manpower support contracting. Specific topics to be discussed
include current issues in federal and acquisition reform affecting
small business, the current climate regarding Contracted Advisory &
Assistance Services (CAAS), panel discussions about small business and
CAAS issues, to include best value and past performance, and issues
around doing business with small businesses. The conference will be
held 9 May 1997 at the Hope Hotel and Conference Center,
Wright-Patterson AFB, OH from 0830-1615 hours. Registration and
continental breakfast will be from 0730-0830. The cost of the
conference, which includes continental breakfast, lunch, breaks and
