The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, has a requirement for a portable clean room in the pilot plant area for food processing operations. The clean room shall be 32 ft long x 16 ft deep x 16 ft tall. The air in the enclosed room shall meet class M6.5 (100.000) clean room standards per Federal Standard 209E, or better. All wall surfaces shall be capable of withstanding wash down, with a hose, sponge, and warm soapy water. All wall and frame surfaces shall be approved for incidental contact with food products by the USDA or the FDA. The room shall be designed for easy assembly, disassembly, and storage. RFQ No. 19-91H2-97 will be available on or about April 28, 1997.
