TURBOPROP OR HIGH PERFORMANCE PISTON ENGINE AIRCRAFT AT TYNDALL AFB,

purpose of this synopsis is to develop or identify sources for a
potential nonpersonal service contract that provides flight training
services using turboprop or high performance piston engine aircraft at
Tyndall AFB, FL. Training to be provided includes ground-controlled
interceptor target services and flight test support. The contractor
shall be required to provide approximately 4300 flight training hours
annually. The aircraft must possess specialized military communications
equipment and some of the aircraft must be equipped to carry government
furnished telemetry relay equipment. The aircraft must be flown by
crews with specialized training and qualifications. It is anticipated
the contract will be for a base year with four (4) twelve-month
options. Firms should provide a written response no later than 01 May,

not consitute an invitation for bid or request for proposal and is not
to be construed as a committment by the U.S. Government, DOD or USAF.
However, it is contemplated that a formal solicitation will be issued
at a later date. Firms responding to ths synopsis should state whether
or not they are a small business concern. The U.S. Air Force reserves
the right to consider a small business set-aside based on responses
