The U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (DOL/ETA) is soliciting proposals for the continuing maintenance and operation of a mechanism for providing a rapid response analysis of issues arising from the operation of programs authorized by the Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) and related programs. These analyses will be completed within a short time frame of the identification of an issue, typically six months for less. The period of performance for the prospective award will be twelve (12) months, from contract execution, with two one (1) year options at the government's discretion. The requirement is let under FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. The SIC Code is 8732 and the Size Standard is 5 million. Request for proposals will be available upon WRITTEN REQUEST ONLY, approximately 15 days from the date of publication, on a first come, first-serve basis, until the supply is exhausted. TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. For requests made after the supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is warranted. The fee will not exceed the actual cost of duplication of the solicitation documents. Closing date for receipt of proposals will be May 30, 1997, at 2:00 p.m. local time.
