RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SOURCES SOUGHT: The Project Manager, Aircrew Integrated Systems (PM ACIS) is currently investigating potential future alternative products for a Digital Source Collector (DSC) capable of collecting and recording voice, maintenance and flight data. It is envisioned the DSC will be installed in the U.S. Army Force Modernization Aircraft (OH-58D, UH-60A/L, CH-47D, RAH-66, and possibly the AH-64A/D) with the capability to simultaneously acquire, store, and process electronic data. The Contracting Officer seeks potential suppliers having the technologies and capabilities associated with crash survivable memory; deployable flotation; acquisition, processing and storage; voice management; position location; data transfer; mission anlaysis; human performance analysis; crew and maintenance training; engine health and usage monitoring; drive train monitoring; rotor track and balance; and structural usage monitoring.
