Price, Contract Specialist, 615-313-2651. Contracting Officer -- James L. Coonce, 615-313-2650 This is a solicitation notice for Project No. PSXE 862010, entitled "Repair Mechanical Systems". Successful contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals, services, and perform work as required to replace various mechanical components as: Boilers, Control Systems, Coils, Frequency Drives, Air Compressors, etc. for the Tennessee Air National Guard at McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville, Tennessee. Work will also include electrical system modifications as required for various mechanical repairs. Project will also include asbestos abatement as required for removal of old mechanical components. Contractor will be responsible for all demolition disposal in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local Regulations. Work will be performed in these buildings: 102, 111, 113, 134, 240, 263, and 320 at McGhee Tyson ANG Base, McGhee Tyson Airport, Knoxville, TN. Performance time is 270 calendar days. Plans and Specifications will be available on or about May 14, 1997. A non-refundable certified check or money order is required for plans and specifications in the amount of $100.00 made payable to the Treasurer of the United States. The solicitation itself will be furnished at no cost. Plans and specifications will also be available for review at various plans houses within the state.
