THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFO FOR RESTORATION OF WATER SYSTEM, PHASE III, AT NASA'S GSFC/WALLOPS FLIGHT FACILITY, WALLOPS ISLAND, VA 23337. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their offer. This notice serves as the official amendment to the subject solicitation and a written amendment will not be issued. This amendment to RFO5-01383/614 is hereby issued to incorporate the following: 1. On drawing nos 12379(C-20), 12380(C-21) and 12385(C-26), the horizontal scale shall read 1:1000 in lieu of 1:100. 2. Under page 5, Section 11., Full Text Solicitation Provisions, the following provision is hereby added in full text: PROTESTS TO NASA (1852.233 70)(MAR 1997) Potential bidders or offerors may submit a protest under 48 CFR part 33 (FAR Part 33) directly to the Contracting Officer. As an alternative to the Contracting Officer's consideration of a protest, a potential bidder or offeror may submit the protest to the Deputy Associate Administrator for Procurement, who will serve as or designate the official responsible for conducting an independent review. Protests requesting an independent review shall be addressed to Deputy Associate Administrator for Procurement, NASA Code H, Washington, DC 20546 0001. 3.
