Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center Quality System for
conformance/certification to ISO 9001 in accordance with U.S. Coast
Guard specification. To include preliminary evaluation(s),
preassessment audit(s), registration audit, participation in meetings,
certification presentation, subsequent surveillance audits, all
associated reports, camera ready artwork of certificates, Contractor's
and Accreditor's quality seals, and copies of directory of companies
registered by Contractor, revised to include the Engineering Logistics
Center. Audits shall be conducted on site at the U.S. Coast Guard
Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD
21226. Initial review of the ELC's Quality System shall begin 30
September 1997. A total of five (5) surveillance audits shall be
conducted in six (6) month intervals immediately following
certification presentation. NOTE: Contractor shall be a registrar
accredited through the American National Accreditation Program for
Registrarsof Quality Systems as administered by the American National
Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Registrat~ion Accreditation Board
(RAB). The scope of this accreditation shall include Standard
Industrial Classification Code (SIC Code) 8700 (Engineering,
Accounting, Research, Management and Related Services). Contractor
shall also be a Certifier accredited to the criteria of Standard
EN45012 by either the National Accreditation Council for Certification
Bodies (NACCB) in the United Kingdom or the Raad voor de Certificate
(RVC) in the Netherlands. The resulting contract shall be a
firm-fixed-price contract. When calling to request a solicitation
package, be prepared to state name, address, and solicitation number.
All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered
