JAMAICA: STANDARD SPECIFICATION FOR THE LABELLING OF COMMODITIES: THE LABELLING OF PAPER TISSUE PRODUCTS The following notification is being circulated in accordance with Article 10.6. Title, number of pages and language(s) of the notified document: Standard Specification for the Labelling of Commodities: The Labelling of Paper Tissue Products. Approximately Six (6) Pages. 6. Description of content: The document gives definitions for relevant terms and information to be included on labels of paper tissue products sold by retail or wholesale. It applies to products such as toilet tissue, facial tissue, table napkins and hand towels. 7. Objective and rationale: To ensure that the consumer is provided with information to make an informed choice. 8. Relevant documents: A notice of the standard will appear in the Jamaica Gazette Supplement -- Proclamations, Rules and Regulations. When adopted the document will appear as a Jamaica National Standard which will be available for sale. 9. Proposed date of adoption: June 1997; Proposed date of entry into force: June 1997. 10.
