The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) at Patuxent River announces its intention to issue a sole source contract to Boeing Defense & Space Group to perform wind tunnel testing on their joined wing airframe model with slotted controls to determine the characteristic of the slotted control surfaces. The proposed action will be a Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract with an expected period of performance of 12 months. This contract will be negotiated as a sole source procurement under the statutory authority FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements).
