Prisons is soliciting for Occupational/Vocational classroom instruction
to inmate students in the subject area of office management and
computer applications at the Metropolitan Detention Center, Guaynabo,
Puerto Rico. The course availability will prepare students at MDC
Guaynabo to receive a certificate. Contractor must be accredited by a
regional accrediting body or an equivalent agency. The Federal Bureau
of Prisons is responsible for all costs relating to the program
including textbooks, staff salariesm, tuition, etc. The Federal Bureau
of Prisons will provide inkind services such as classroom space,
utilities, pencils, paper and hardware such as computers. Classes will
be offered on a three hour per day module for a period of no less than
one year, beginning from date of award through 12 months. The normal
weekly work schedule will be from Monday through Thursday (excluding
federal holidays) from 5:30 p.m. through 8:30 p.m. and in no case will
the total amount of sessions exceed 30 hours per week with each
session being three hours in length. The contractor must provide at
least two classes per semester or quarter which pertain to either
office management or computer applications. Semesters and/or quarters
