15 -- F-14 OUTER WING PANEL FATIGUE STUDY POC Contact, Patrice Ryan, Phone (703)604-6100 The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) intends to issue a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee contract to the Northrop Grumman Corporation, Military Division, Bethpage, New York for the procurement of an F-14 Outer Wing Panel Fatigue Study. This study will provide data that will allow the Navy to determine the fatigue life of the outer wing as well as any repair/modifications that will permit the extension of the fatigue life of fleet F-14s. Northrop Grumman as the original designer, developer and sole producer of the F-14 aircraft is the only known source who possesses the expertise and knowledge to perform the required effort in time to support the Navy's requirement.
