generally consists of, but is not limited to, the following: Furnish
competent surveying resources to properly layout the subject sites and
provide horizontal and vertical control. 1) LOCALIZER SYSTEM, RUNWAY
18: Perform site preparation work including: Install reinforced
concrete pier foundations and pad. Trench and install cables. Install
GFM fiberglass shelter including conduit, enclosures, wiring etc.
Install ground check markers and earth electrode grounding system and
lightning protection system. Install crushed rock surfacing. 2) GLIDE
SLOPE SYSTEM, RUNWAY 18: Perform site preparation work including:
Install reinforced concrete pier foundations and crushed rock
surfacing. Install GFM fiberglass shelter and concrete access road.
Install earth electrode grounding system and lightning protection
system. Trench and install power cables and conduit. 3) MEDIUM
INTENSITY APPROACH LIGHTING SYSTEM, RUNWAY 18: Perform site preparation
work including: Install reinforced concrete pier foundations. Install
all light cans, conduits, cables and transformers and crushed rock
surfacing and access road. Install LIR Masts and mounting stands.
Install towers, concrete foundations and security fences and GFM
fiberglass shelter. Install earth electrode grounding system and
lightning protection system. Trench and install cables and conduit. 4)
PRECISION APPROACH PATH INDICATOR, RUNWAY 13: Perform site preparation
work including: Install 4-lamp housing assemblies with concrete
foundations. Install power and control unit and power cables. Install
concrete access road and crushed rock surfacing and filter fabric and
earth electrode grounding system. 5) RUNWAY VISUAL RANGE, RUNWAY 18:
Perform site preparation work including: Install foundations and all
electrical power and control cables, conduits, equipment rack and all
grounding and lightning protection. Install Runway Light Intensity
Monitor and Ambient Light Sensor Systems. Removal of existing
Transmissometer Projector Tower and Receiver Tower and foundations.
Restoration of each site. Demolition and disposal of a PCB contaminated
oil filled transformer. The estimated price range of this project is
$500,000 to $1,000,000. This procurement is open to both large and

disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working
capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts.
This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at aany tier.
The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid,
performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT
provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to surety against losses.
Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program
(STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable
financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000. For further
