Specifications and drawings Vary. It is the government's intent to award two indefinite delivery type contracts. The basic quantity to be purchased is an estimated quantity of 4,670 pair maximum and one pair minimum quantity for various footwear items to be delivered to the defense orthopedic footwear clinic, Boston, MA. A one year term option with the same maximum/minimum quantities as the basic is included. This solicitation will be issued in accordance with 10 USC 2304(C)(3) industrial mobilization. Offeror(S) must be a planned producer or become a planned producer before award. Scheduled delivery period begins on or about 22 December 1997 and ends on or about 22 December 1998. Anticipated solicitation issue date is on or about 12 May 1997. These items are determined to be military unique and the solicitation will not be purchased under the provisions of FAR part 12. See numbered Note 26. This is a total set-aside for small business firms. The government plans to furnish the following material: lasts, patterns, and miscellaneous parts as specified in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit offer which DPSC shall consider.
