Martinez, Contracting Officer (505) 761-4650 This project consists of reconstruction observation desk and ramp at the top of Sandia Crest (Elev. 10,648 ft.); reconstructing the upper parking area, including construction of a poured in place concrete retaining wall; constructing an intermediate plaza area with 4-unit vault toilet; reconstructing a portion of existing asphalt roadway; constructing a gravel surfaced parking area; and other items. Work shall include, but not limited to; minor clearing and grubbing; rock excavation; excavation and embankment, grading, and drainage; demolitiion; concrete retaining wall; mortared rock wall; "Keystone" geogrid reinforced retaining wall; asphalt roadway construction; concrete curb and gutter; concrete sidewalk; rock and timber shelter; 4-unit vault wood frame toilet building; striping; other minor concrete; signs; seeding; and other minor items of work in accordance with the drawings, specifications, and requirements of the contract. This work is located on the Cibola National Forest on the Sandia Ranger District. 100% performance bond and 50% payment bond is required. Price range is $500,000 to $1,000,000.
