Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS), China Lake, CA intends to procure services to do routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance of the electronic control portion of Government-owned tools and related machine equipment located at NAWCWPNS. Types of equipment to be maintained include, but limited to, NC/CNC Controls by Allen-Bradley, Bridgeport, Bendix, Giddings & Lewis and General Electric, Digital Readouts by Analim, Bausch & Lomb and Sheffield, lathes by Hermes, Gildemeister and Hardinge, and milling machines by Bridgeport Cinitimat. NAWCWPNS China Lake is located approximately 120 miles northeast from Los Angeles. For emergency repairs, the Government requires that the Contractor shall have its personnel on-site at the emergency location within 90 minutes after being notified. Proposed contract type is Time and Materials. Anticipated Period of performance is for 24 months. Anticipate award effective date: 15 Sep 97. Written solicitation will be used in awarding the contract. Statement of Work will be provided with the solicitation with an equipment list. Source selection will be made to that technically acceptable offer offering the lowest price. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the Agency.
