Architect-Engineer Services: Indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity
contract for design of miscellaneous projects for the Mississippi Air
National Guard, Combat Readiness Training Center, G ulfport, MS and the
Mississippi Army National Guard Camp Shelby Training Site, Camp Shelby,
MS. Scope of services required: Architect and Engineering services are
required to provide Type "A" servi ces (soil borings, site
development, cost analysis, alternative design), Type "B" services
(actual project design in accordance with all applicable codes and Air
Force regulations), and Type "C" servi ces (construction inspection)
for new construction, maintenance and repair projects, alterations and
additions to existing facilities. These projects will require
multidiscipline engineering service s in investigative, design, and
inspections. The services required for each project will be negotiated
under a separate delivery order. Evaluation factors: (1) Professional
qualifications of the following disciplines (not intended to be all
inclusive): Architect, Civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical
Engineer, Structural Engineer, Soils engineer, Energy Management
Specialist, (2) Specialized experience and technical competence, (3)
Capacity to complete work on time, (4) Past Performance, (5) Location
in the general geographical area of the project, (6) Demonstrated
success in prescribing the use of recovered materials and achieving
waste reduction and energy efficiency in facility design and (7) Volume
of DoD work in the past 12 months. Any resultant contract will be fo r
a period of one year with an option for an additional year of service.
Each individual delivery order will not exceed $300,000.00. The
cumulative amount of delivery orders will not exceed $1,500, 000.00 per
year. A-E firms located outside the commuting distance (90 miles) of
Gulfport and Camp Shelby that wish to be considered must be willing to
establish a temporary branch office within this area. The Government
will not absorb the cost of establishing the branch office nor will the
Government pay out of town travel. Firms desiring consideration shall
submit Standard Forms 254 and 255 to Lt Col Steve Smith, ANG CRTC/CE,
4600 Hewes Ave, Bldg #132, Gulfport, MS 39507 to be received no later
than 30 calendar days after the initial publication of this notice.
When submitting Standa rd Forms 254 and 255, include the number and
dollar value of A/E contracts awarded by the Air National Guard and DoD
agencies (include the previous year if the previous year is less than
6 months. Also include copies of any government evaluation reports
showing performance on past work if available. This is not a Request
