TECHNOLOGIES POC Contact, Denise Hanley, Phone (703)604-6100 The Joint
Strike Fighter (JSF) Program Office seeks sources for the
demonstration of advanced Prognostics and Health Management
technologies to provide JSF with an interface/cable test capability for
aircraft wiring to include metallic and optical cables, bus analyzers,
RF generation, voltage and current measurements, and the ability to
diagnose phased matched cables. JSF Prognostics and Health Management
performance is seriously impacted by a lack of capability to
automatically, accurately and consistently diagnose and isolate all
faults within the avionics, propulsion, and subsystems. The JSF Program
is particulary interested in innovative technologies that provide a
prognostics capability able to accurately sense and report impending
malfunctions prior to failure. Proposed efforts must include a
demonstration of technology prior to FY99. Sources interested in
presenting innovative approaches and possible solutions should contact
Al Bodnar at the JSF Program Office either by fax at (703) 602-0593 or
e-mail at bodnar@ntrps.jast.mil by 30 May 1997. Direct techincal
questions to Mr. Al Bodnar via e-mail at bodnar @ntrps.jast.mil or
(FAX) 703-6-2-0593 and contracual questions to Denise Hanley via e-mail
at hanleyda@navair.jfk.mil or (FAX) 703-604-0593. -- NAVAIR Synopsis
