all labor, material, equipment, transportation, mobilization and
demobilization required to construct Juneau Station Renovation Project,
USCG Station Juneau, Juneau, Alaska, consisting of a base bid with two
(2) option items. The work includes the following: Selective interior
demolition and renovation, construction of a new 6,500 SF concrete
addition, site utilities modifications and upgrades. Work to existing
concrete building will include concrete cutting and coring, interior
finishes, electrical and mechanical upgrades fire sprinkler
installation, handicap restroom construction and kitchen renovation.
New addition will involve site preparation (including
waterfront/bulkhead work), elevator installation, concrete and interior
finish work. Option 1 is for the renovation of an existing 3,600 SF
kitchen and two restrooms. Option 2 is for the construction of a 1,999
SF Electronics Shop in existing station Building. Estimated price
range is $1,000,000 -- $5,000,000. Duration of contract is
approximately 18 months. Plans and Specifications and/or Plan Holders

Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to
assist minority, wonen-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to
acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for
transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible
prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program
enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to
$1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on
the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available
under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime insterest
rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of
