Y -- CONSTRUCTION OF A FLOOD PROTECTION CONDUIT SYSTEM AND THE RELOCATION OF A SANITARY SEWER LOCATED IN JEFFERSON COUNTY, PA. The project consist of the following major items of work: 9,700 cy common excavation; 5,350 cy unclassified excavation; 210 cy concrete box conduit; 2,133 lf precast box conduit; 1,515 lf 10" PVC sanitary sewer; and 508 lf 12" PVC sanitary sewer to be set at various depth. There is a charge of $50 per each package requested. Checks should be made payable to USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service. Pre-Solicitation notices will be used. Packages will be available on April 28, 1997. There will be two site showings conducted for this project -- May 8, 1997 at 10:00 a.m. and May 20, 1997 at 1:00 p.m. Prospective bidders should attempt to attend at least one of the two site showings. Notice to proceed is expected to be issued on July 1, 1997 with a completion date of January 1999. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency (0092)
