This requirement is for systems engineering and technical support f the c-5 all weather flight control system (awfcs) and global air traffic management (gatm). The contractor is expected to perform the following tasks: requirements analysis and definition, program and technical risk analysis, source selection technical evaluation, systems and software verification and validation, test and evaluation support, and program management support. Contractor must currently possess full range of required experience, knowledge base, existing facilities and trained manpower including: automatic flight control systems, electronic flight display systems, gps-based navigation systems, global air traffic management concepts, communication/navigation/surveillance and air traffic management (cns/atm) requirements, systems engineering, human factors engineering, life-cycle cost analyses, commercial avionics specification practices, and air force flight test procedures. The contractor must also possess current technical data and models for the c-5 awfcs including system requirements document and concept of operations, display and control operational model, and life-cycle model.
