The work consists of detaching 5,580 feet of existing guard rail from wooden posts, replacing the wooden posts with steel posts, and reattaching the existing guard rail along the roadway of the Dierks Lake Dam and in two existing parking areas along the roadway of the dam, and installating two new sections of guard rail along the roadway of the dam as shown on the drawings. Estimated magnitude of work is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Issue date for solicitation will be on or about April 28, 1997 at a cost of $30.00 solicitation and full size drawings; $28.00 solicitation and half size drawings; $24.25 solicitation only. Charges are nonrefundable.
