The contract(s) resulting from this solicitation will include various Underground Storage Tank Systems projects at Postal owned and leased facilities within the DC Metro FSO Areas. At the discretion of the Contracting Officer, one or more contracts may be awarded. Contractors must have a minimum of two (2) years experience as of the date of issue in this type of work. Contractors must also possess the capabilities of working at least five to ten jobs at the same time. Specific Work Order/s will be issued by the Contracting Officer in accordance with the Unit Price Schedule and Specifications. One or more "Work Orders" will be issued totaling not less than $10,000.00 nor more than $250,000.00 during a two (2) year period of the contract. The initial limit of $250,000.00 may be increased by modification as agreed upon by the Contractor and the Contracting Officer up to the maximum of $3,000,000.00. The Postal Service guarantees no specific number of Work Orders nor a specific amount other than the total of $10,000.00 set out above. The contractor will not be required to perform work under any work order where the value of work in any one building is less than $500.00. Offerors will be required to submit One (1) "Multiplier" to be applied to the various Unit Prices established in the "Unit Price Schedule"; The Multiplier must contain the Offeror's overhead, profit, bonds, insurance and all other contingencies. No allowance for such items will be made after contract award. Offers are due by 2:00 PM on May 2, 1997. Plans and Specifications will be available on or about April 2, 1997 at $50.00 per set, Non-Refundable, referencing Solicitation #232092-97-A-0012. Please Do Not Send Cash.
